A Good Day
I was still confused. My website was missing photos and I didn’t understand why. Over the weekend, though I investigated and tried solutions, it was to no avail. Monday morning began and I figured I’d just take a deep breath and keep trying. And I put a call in to a professional web designer.
I stepped outside and saw this little note on the ground. “Hmmm”, I thought, “that’s a nice message from the Universe.” Then Brian, who built this website for me, called to say he figured it out and it’s all fine now.
So it was a bit of good luck though more importantly, the support of an experienced, calm professional to unsnarl a knotted up situation.
Ever notice that when someone says, “It’s really easy.” it usually ends up taking you a long time? Or is just plain confusing? It’s easy once you know how. And it’s easy when you’re calm, well-rested, had something to eat recently and aren’t distracted by other extraneous events.
So I’ll tell you, breastfeeding takes time and eventually it’s easy. That’s a goal, to make nursing a comfortable and sustainable habit. Give yourself time, a calm environment and rally people to take care of your peripheral needs. And when you’re feeling something’s not making sense, definately call someone (like me) with your breastfeeding questions. I know what it’s like to be confused, need help and get good advice. That can make a difference in your day.
