W.I.C (Women, Infant and Children) 1-800-WIC-1007
This program provides vouchers to buy healthy food, nutrition education, referrals for medical and dental care, health insurance, fuel assistance, immunization screening, breastfeeding support, and various health workshops. Free for lower income families. (Mothers, grandmothers, fathers, foster parents, or other legal guardians of a child under 5 years old). Call for an appointment.

They offer help (in 140 languages) to figure your food stamp eligibility and/or to find programs for free or low cost food.
