Breastfeeding can be a comfortable habit in your life. That takes patience and practice, not pain. Let’s find what works for you and your baby.

Consider a prenatal class. We’ll organize it  to answer your specific questions and assuage your worries. Your support people (friends, grandparents…) can take classes, too.

Being able to sort through all the information can be very helpful. I provide clear information and allow plenty of time for your questions.

  • Understand how your body makes milk for your child and a baby’s instinct to feed.
  • Learn why some common myths are counter productive.
  • Review reliable resources for information and support.

I also offer Tummy Time! Method sessions. Gently help your baby unfurl and align their bodies. Learn about your baby’s natural development and specific movements that ease their alignment and comfort. Equally important, this is a pleasant time to connect with your baby.

I first saw how this was helpful for babies with feeding difficulties. Babies do need to move their bodies and spend time on their tummies. Tummy Time! sessions are each 45 minutes long and we’ll have time to socialize with other infants and parents. Contact me to learn about the schedule.

For over twenty years, I visited new families in their homes… the place where families grow. The time to talk, ask questions and a place to meet other parents has always been valuable.

Every family needs a calm environment to adjust. It’s fundamental to our health. Let’s advocate together for proactive family leave policies and insurance coverage for support. Let your legislators know how you feel. That is valid information and informs policy decisions.
